$250,000 Structure Fire at Mannum - 5 April 2022

CFS crews were called to a structure fire at the corner of Murray Terrace and Edwin Street in Mannum at 7:05pm this evening.

Six CFS crews from Mannum, Murray Bridge, Bow Hill and Ridley Group attended, supported by SAAS and SAPOL.

Upon arrival, crews found the structure fully alight. Fortunately all occupants were able to safely evacuate the property.

The fire has caused approximately $250,000 damage, with a house, a car and a caravan all destroyed. Thankfully firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining structures.

The cause is unknown at this time, and fire cause investigators will attend in the morning. CFS crews will remain on scene mopping up and monitoring for hot spots for some time.
