$100,000 shed fire at Upper Hermitage
At 2:14 this afternoon CFS crews were alerted to a fire in a 20x60m shed on Range Road at Upper Hermitage.
Three CFS and one MFS crew, supported by two CFS bulk water carriers, SA Police, SA Power Networks and SA Ambulance services arrived to find the shed, which was being used by a curtain manufacturer, on fire.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the shed, however the structure and contents were severely damaged.
Losses have been estimated at $100,000, with crew remaining on scene to monitor and cool acetylene cylinders that were heated from the blaze.
Fire cause investigators will attend the scene to determine what started the fire.
