Bangham structure fire - 13 February 2026

Seven trucks carrying approximately 30 firefighters responded to a Triple Zero call to attend a structure fire at 4:30 am at Bangham, located 32 kilometres south-east of Bordertown in the state’s South East.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a farming structure fully involved in fire.

Volunteer firefighters took four hours to control the fire, but prevented significant further damage by ensuring it was contained to the original shed.

Firefighters were supported by SA State Emergency Services and SA Police.

Damage to the property is estimated at $500,000.

The cause is undetermined and is being investigated.
