NO ALARM FOR DRIFTING SMOKE

20/12/2013

The CFS is advising people in the Hills Face Zone not to be alarmed over the smell of smoke which is being reported across a wide area.

Smoke from the Tintinara scrub fire which has been burning since 4 o'clock this afternoon has been wafting across the Mt Lofty Ranges through to the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley.

The CFS advises if there are no visible flames then there is no cause for alarm but people should still be vigilant and if they do see smoke or flames to ring Triple Zero immediately.

For more information on current incidents and bushfire safety, visit the CFS website or contct the Bushfire Information Hotline on 1300 362 361.
