CFS advises that a bushfire at Middle River on Kangaroo Island near North Coast Road may threaten your safety.

Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.

The MIDDLE RIVER fire is travelling in a Westerly direction between North Coast Road and the coast line.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in Scrub and grasslands and conditions are continually changing.

There are currently road blocks in place and you should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
