CFS advises that a bushfire at Karte in the Mallee near the Karte Conservation Park and also within the Peebinga Conservation Park may threaten your safety.

Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.

The KARTE fire is travelling in a North Easterly direction towards Kringin, Mootatunga and Browns Well Highway.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in Scrub and Grass and conditions are continually changing.

You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
