Third rotation of fire fighters to help New South Wales
Following a request from New South Wales Rural Fire Service, a third contingent of South Australian emergency services personnel will travel to New South Wales tomorrow morning, to help with firefighting efforts in the north of the state.
The contingent will include 16 volunteer Country Fire Service (CFS) volunteer firefighters and 1 South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS) paramedic.
The group will fly to Sydney, before travelling to the fire zone in the Northern Tablelands tomorrow afternoon. They will relieve the current deployment, who will return to Adelaide on Thursday evening.
Four Incident Management Specialists flew to Sydney this morning and will provide organisational and logistical support to the NSWRFS.
