Sleaford fire now contained

The fire at Sleaford near Port Lincoln is now contained.

The fire has burned approximately 618 hectares of land and although there is no active fire crews from DEWNR and CFS will continue to monitor for hot spots throughout the day.

Although the threat has reduced, be aware that some risks are still present.

There may be smoke in the area, visibility may be reduced and there may be falling trees.

Some roads remain closed, but the Port Lincoln National Park has reopened.
