Building Fire in Naracoorte
The South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) advises that firefighters are currently responding to a building fire at the old TAFE center on Gordon Street, Naracoorte.
Approximately 40 CFS volunteers, supported by 10 CFS fire trucks, are in attendance and working to bring the incident under control. SA Police, SA Ambulance Service, SA Power Networks and SA Water are also assisting.
Gordon Street is currently closed to traffic to allow emergency vehicles and firefighters to safely access the scene. Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
CFS crews have successfully prevented the fire from spreading to an adjoining business and nearby buildings.
