Naracoorte fire

Issued for NARACOORTE in the Lower South-East of South Australia.

CFS crews will continue to work through the night on a fire which has now been contained in scrubland north of Naracoorte, in the state's Lower South-East.

A warning message has been issued for the Naracoorte fire. Refer to the CFS website cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date warning information.

Replacement night crews from across the region will be on scene, monitoring and strengthening the containment lines.

They will receive support by the Department of Environment and Water crews from 7am. If you see any active fires without crews in attendance, please report to 000.

Traffic restrictions and a tiered road closure system is in place for Valley View Road, Martins Road and Wild Dog Valley Road. Access may not be possible to all areas until they are deemed safe. Follow the directions of emergency service personnel and signage.

Smoke may be impacting visibility in the area. To ensure your safety and that of CFS and other emergency personnel, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
