Lewiston - Grass Fire
CFS are attending a Grassfire at Lewiston, approximately 8 kilometres east of Two Wells on the Adelaide Plains of South Australia.
Approximately 35 CFS firefighters are currently working on the fireground, supported by South Australia Police.
The CFS can confirm approximately 1 hectare of grassland, as well as multiple vehicles and piles of rubbish have been impacted by the Lewiston Fire.
CFS firefighters have worked diligently and prevented the fire from spreading to structures and other vehicles in the area.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and Fire Investigators will attend the scene.
Roads are currently open around this incident however this may change at short notice. Continue to monitor road closures at: traffic.sa.gov.au.
