Rockleigh fire community meeting

The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) is hosting a community meeting in Palmer Hall at 6.30pm tonight, to discuss the Rockleigh fire.

Representatives from the CFS, SA Police, Department of Primary, Industry and Regions SA (PIRSA), Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) and the local Councils will provide an update on the fire situation.

CFS Community Education Officers will also be available to discuss how to be prepared and offer advice on Bushfire Survival Plans.

The meeting is open to all interested members of the public, local residents and media.

Residents of the Palmer, Monarto, Rockleigh, Tepko and Callington areas are encouraged to attend.

The community meeting is being held at 6.30pm in Palmer Hall on the corner of Main Road ad Education Avenue, Palmer.
