House Fire Millicent

Just after 2:15pm this afternoon crews from the SA Country Fire Service responded to a structure fire on Bryant Street Millicent in the States South East.

On arrival firefighters found the three bedroom brick home fully ablaze.

More than 25 firefighters took just over half an hour to contain the blaze which has left the home fully destroyed.

Damage has been estimated at $250 000, with fire cause investigators called to attend the scene. At this stage a cause has not been determined.

The occupants were not home at the time the fire started.

SA Police and SA Ambulance were also on scene.
