Police charge a man over suspicious fires

A 31-year-old man has been arrested over three fires in Adelaide's southern suburbs on New Year's Eve.

Police allege that the man who is a member of a CFS Brigade was responsible for three fires that were suspected to have been deliberately lit.

He has been suspended as a CFS volunteer.

The CFS will be making no further statement while this case continues through the judicial process.
