FIRE DESTROYS THE PASKEVILLE HOTEL

CFS and MFS crews were called to a fire at a hotel in Paskeville on Yorke Peninsula overnight.
The alarm was raised just after 3.40am when crews arrived to find a fire at the rear of the Paskeville Hotel on Railway Terrace.
Despite the efforts of more than 40 CFS and MFS firefighters, the fire spread rapidly through the hotel and destroyed the entire building.
The cost of the damage is estimated at $560,000.
Fire cause investigators are at the scene but have yet to determine the cause of this fire.
