Coulta Fire
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) has successfully contained the scrub fire near Coulta, approximately 60km north-west of Port Lincoln, South Australia.
CFS volunteer firefighters, supported by Farm Fire Units, worked last night with great success to contain the fire burning in the Marble Ranges. Crews will continue to patrol the fireground today to extinguish hot spots. Aircraft may be seen overhead throughout the day supporting ground crews.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and Fire Investigators will attend the scene this morning.
Roads are currently open around this incident however this may change at short notice. Continue to monitor road closures at: traffic.sa.gov.au.
