Warnings and incidents
SA Country Fire Service (CFS) responds to a range of incidents across South Australia. Our daily/going incidents are listed below.
This information is updated every 5 minutes, and updated daily at midnight with only the Going incidents remaining on the table from previous days. You will need to refresh this page to reflect updated changes. Press F5 or your browsers refresh/reload button to refresh this page.
You can sort the table by Date, Location, Region, Type, Status and Level, by clicking on those headings.
A Controlled Burn off is an intentionally ignited fire contained within a designated area. They are generally conducted during the cooler months to reduce fuel build-up and decrease the likelihood of serious hotter fires or reduction of stubble as part of farming practices. Controlled Burn Offs may be carried out by individuals with appropriate local council permits, Forestry SA, DEWNR, Natural Resource Management Boards and CFS.
There may be Controlled Burn Offs of which CFS is unaware. Please call the Bushfire Information Hotline on 1300 362 361 for more information. If at any time you see an unattended fire, please report it by dialling 000.
