The Country Fire Service (CFS) expects it may take up to a fortnight before it can declare the Wilpena fire as "contained".The fire started from a lightning strike in very steep and inaccessible terrain, south of Point Bonney, at around 9.30pm on Sunday, January 22.It has burnt about 880 hectares and smoke can still be seen over a wide area.
