EMERGENCY WARNING FOR A BUSHFIRE BURNING UNDER SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS
Issued for Mosquito Hill, Scott Conservation Park and Currency CreekCFS advises that a serious bushfire is burning out of control at Mosquito Hill on the Fleurieu Peninsula near Mount Compass Goolwa Road, Trigg Point Road, Deep Creek Road, Kokoda Road and Frome Road.
This Bushfire Emergency Warning Message is in place for the following area(s) Mosquito Hill, Scott Conservation Park and Currency Creek.
The MOSQUITO HILL fire is travelling in a Easterly direction towards Deep Creek Road, Scott Conservation Park and Frome Road. There is a risk to lives and homes.
The uncontrolled fire is burning in Stubble.
What you need to doCheck and follow your bushfire survival plan. Take shelter when the fire arrives and protect yourself from the fires heat.
Only leave now if the path is clear to a safe place.
You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
